Generation of Champions RCCG partners with Community Initiatives of Wisconsin (CIW) as a subcontractor to provide FoodShare outreach, application assistance, and nutrition education to individuals and families in our community.

Through our FoodShare Outreach Program, we connect people to resources, remove barriers, and provide the support needed to put healthy food on the table.

OUR SERVICES

APPLICATION ASSISTANCE

We help individuals and families apply for FoodShare benefits and ensure their applications are complete and submitted correctly.

ELIGIBILITY SCREENING

We provide confidential screening to determine eligibility and explain benefit amounts and requirements.

RENEWALS & RECERTIFICATIONS

We assist with renewals to help prevent gaps in benefits and keep families connected to the support they need.

NUTRITION EDUCATION

We provide information on healthy eating, cooking on a budget, and making the most of FoodShare benefits.

REFERRALS & RESOURCE CONNECTIONS

We connect families to additional community resources including housing, healthcare, utility assistance, and more.

OUTREACH & AWARENESS

We host community events, workshops, and outreach activities to increase awareness and reduce stigma.
